The Nite Owl

The Nite Owl is a bold new entrant in the blended Scotch category, created to challenge a market long dominated by traditional brands. With the majority of global Scotch sales driven by heritage-led players, the ambition was to create a brand that felt contemporary, disruptive and relevant to a new generation of whisky drinkers.

 

I led the creation of the brand identity and personality for The Nite Owl, developing a distinctive visual language designed to stand out on shelf and support long-term growth. From initial concept through to final printed product, I defined every element of the identity, ensuring it resonated with modern whisky audiences while remaining flexible enough to support future extensions, including limited editions and brand campaigns.

 

Core brand assets, including the owl’s iconic eyes, were designed as versatile, ownable devices, enabling the brand to extend confidently into activations such as bar signage, point-of-sale materials and wider experiential touchpoints. The result is a cohesive, scalable brand system built to challenge category norms and grow over time.
