Creative leader, art director, ideas generation & graphic designer
unplugged festival
At innocent, we created Unplugged, a digital detox festival designed to encourage people to switch off and reconnect. I led the creative development of the festival, defining the brand identity and overall look and feel across every touchpoint, from PR imagery and signage to lanyards and on-site environments.
Alongside the creative, I played a key role in project managing the festival, working across multiple workstreams including artist and activity selection, food partners and temporary structures. Delivering the event required close collaboration across teams, careful coordination and pragmatic decision-making to balance creative ambition with a limited budget and tight timelines.
This was a highly hands-on, cross-functional project that combined brand, experiential design and live event delivery. The festival was a success, receiving strong feedback internally and from attendees, and demonstrated the power of creative thinking applied to complex, real-world challenges.
